About this Event
Tech 6.0 Week is a premier multi-organizational tech and engineering gathering taking place at the JKUAT Main Campus. Centered around the core theme, "Empowering Kenya's Future Through Clean Energy Efficiency and Connected Technologies," attendees can expect deep-dive sessions focusing on sustainable engineering, modern energy solutions, and the digital systems shaping Kenya's technological landscape.
Umeme Sense CEO and Graduate electrical Engineer Sheila Otuko will be in attendance, bringing valuable industry insights, professional experience, and expert perspectives to the sessions.
The event spans two intensive days - October 2nd and October 3rd, 2026; running daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Participants can look forward to a structured program filled with presentations, discussions, and collaborative opportunities tailored for aspiring and practicing engineers.
Backed and co-organized by a coalition of prominent student societies and chapters, including the Society of Engineering Students, AGGES, JAGE, SOMES, IEEE JKUAT, and the IEEE PES Student Branch Chapter, expecta vibrant networking environment with peers and industry leaders.
